Google user data

The SiteFix Pack mailer application connects to exactly one Google account: the Gmail account operated by SiteFix Pack to send its own outgoing mail. It does not connect to, request access to, or receive data from anyone else's Google account.

The only Google permission the application requests is the ability to send mail as that account (the gmail.send scope). With that permission the application can create and send a message. It cannot read the mailbox, cannot delete or modify mail, and does not request access to Google contacts, Drive files, calendars, location or advertising data.

What the application stores from Google is an OAuth refresh token for that single account. The token is held encrypted on a private server, is used only to obtain short-lived permission to send, is never transferred to any third party, and is never used for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models. Revoking the application's access in the Google account's security settings ends its access immediately and permanently.

SiteFix Pack's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information about businesses we write to

We collect business contact information from the public web: a business's own website, and the role-based email address (such as info@ or office@) that the business publishes on it. We collect and store the business name, its website address, its published business contact email and postal address, and a list of technical problems our software found on its public pages.

We use that information for one purpose: to write to that business about its own website. We do not sell it, rent it, license it, trade it, or share it with any third party for that party's own use, and we do not build or offer a marketing list.

Removal and opt-out

Reply to any message from us with the word STOP, or use the unsubscribe control your mail client displays, and the address is suppressed permanently. Suppression is honoured on the same day and applies to all future mail from us.

To have the stored record about a business deleted rather than suppressed, or to ask what we hold, write to the contact address below and say so. We will delete it and confirm.

What we do not collect

These pages set no cookies, run no analytics, embed no third-party scripts, and do not track visitors. We do not knowingly collect information about children, and we do not collect consumer personal data — the businesses we contact are contacted at published business addresses.

Security and retention

Records are held on a private server with access limited to the operators of SiteFix Pack. Credentials are stored encrypted. Records for businesses that have opted out are reduced to the minimum needed to keep honouring the opt-out.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, the updated date above changes with it. Questions, removal requests and complaints go to the address below and are answered by someone who can act on them and confirm what was done.
